I grew up in Newmarket, Ontario as the middle of three sisters. From an early age, my parents valued giving us a Christ-centered education, feeling that something was missing in the public school experience. They chose to send us to a Christian school, and I thrived in that environment. At Holland Marsh District Christian School (now King Christian), I not only grew academically but also developed a deeper connection with God that has shaped the way I see learning and life.

From there, I attended Toronto District Christian High School, where I loved being part of a faith-filled community and where I also met my husband. I graduated with the class of 2006 and went on to pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science in Child, Youth, and Family at the University of Guelph. During that time, I also earned my Early Childhood Education Certificate and worked in daycare, which gave me a solid foundation in child development and hands-on experience supporting young learners.

After completing my undergraduate degree, I followed my calling into teaching by earning my Bachelor of Education at Lakehead University in Orillia, focusing on the Primary/Junior divisions. Each step along the way confirmed for me that teaching is not just a profession, but a vocation from God—a way to live out my faith by guiding and nurturing children.

I have been blessed with three amazing children - Miller, Sadie, and Norah - and am so thankful to be able to share with them the gift of Christian education!
